WORKING MOMMY MORNING ESSENTIALS | Airbrush Makeup Artist | Denver
After 9 months of swimming though life as a brand new mommy, I think I've finally got a little clarity and a handle on things. For the most part.
We live in Denver, and almost all of our family are back in scattered places in Nebraska. So there's no dropping off a grumpy baby at Grammys when Mama needs a nap or a mental health hour. It took quite a few months for both Ruby and I to figure each other out. On top of all of that, add on getting a freelance business in a big city filled with strangers off the ground. But here we are 9 months later... starting a blog and hopefully a new direction for this little family of 3.
As a makeup artist and esthetician, its my job to look rested, glowing, and polished everyday. Yeah, OK.... With a tiny human on my hip 2 hours out of the 3 that she is awake in the morning... this girls gotta have some hacks. DUH! Here's a few i used just this morning before my push into the weekend wedding preps.
Lansinoh Thera Pearl Packs- I have these left over from nursing Ruby, so when my eyes are puffy in the mornings, I get up just before she does and lay in bed with them on my puffy eyes.
Bioelements Pumice Peel- Scrub a dub dub. Fresh, soft, smooth skin gives a better surface for makeup to lay.
Image Skin Care Iluma Intense Brightening Eye Cream- though it be tiny, it be powerful. Dark circles stand no chance.
Strawberry's- I mash up one and rub in onto my lips after I put my makeup on. Gives them just a little tint, and the acid acts as a light exfoliation. Ruby is usually grabbing the leftovers and shoving them in her mouth.
